In recent years, ASU baseball has made several multi-million dollar renovations and additions to the facilities located at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark. The student-athletes of Sun Devil Baseball are provided with the best all-around player facilities in the country and have several resources available on site to further enhance their develop and college experience. Campers attending Pat Murphy's All 9 Baseball Academy also benefit from these recent improvements.

A brand new playing surface was installed just prior to the start of the 2003 season and is annually referred to as the best looking and playing surface in the country. The playing field is named after original Sun Devil Baseball Head Coach, Bobby Winkles.

The players' clubhouse was completed prior to the 2005 season and features a 1,600 square-foot major league style clubhouse designed with 40 oversized cherry wood lockers. The lockers were funded by pledges from alumni of the program and have a plaque identifying the player responsible for the donation located on the locker door. ASU student-athletes also enjoy a video room, study lounge, meeting room and 1,000 square-foot sports medicine room inside the clubhouse.

The Omaha Room, located inside the clubhouse, features team pictures of the Sun Devils' 5 National Championship teams, as well as wall plaques listing the program's 19 College World Series appearances and members of the All-CWS team. Several camp meetings take place in this area.

Designed with the same specifications as the main infield, this area provides infielders, catchers, and pitchers the necessary facility to perform various defensive, bunting or baserunning drills.

Maintained with the same care as the main field, the practice infield is practice ready throughout the year and is heavily used during All Nine Baseball Academy.

Q. How many players come to your camps?

A. It really depends on the location and the facility for that camp. Two day camps and clinics are generally 50 players or less. With these camps, we aim to keep the numbers low so we can provide small group and one-on-one instruction.

Our weeklong camps are generally between 100-150 campers. These camps feature scrimmage games as a key part of the camp experience, so there needs to be enough campers to build rosters for each camp team.
