Pedroia AL Rookie of the Year

Former Sun Devil All-American Dustin Pedroia was named 2007 American League Rookie of the Year, becoming the 4th ASU player to win the prestigious award. Pedroia also became the first Red Sox player to win the award since Nomar Garciaparra in 1997. Bob Horner ('78), Alvin Davis ('84) and Pat Listach ('92) are the previous winners from ASU.
